By creating an iRacer account you agree that you have read & understood the following terms of use;

General

You agree that;

• You will not use iRacer to organize or engage in any criminal activity or unlawful practice.

• You will not use iRacer to organize or engage in misleading, malicious, or discriminatory activities.
• You will not access or exploit iRacer using automated means including, but not limited to, robots, spiders, or scrapers without our prior consent.
• You will not upload viruses or malicious code.
• You will not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these terms to anyone else without our written consent.
• You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of these terms.
• You will not use the iRacer logo, emblems or site graphics without prior written permission. Please contact us for permission.
• We do not guarantee that iRacer will be safe or secure. You use iRacer at your own risk. iRacer is provided without any express or implied warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You release us, our directors & employees from any claims and damages, known and unknown, arising from your use of iRacer.
• iRacer is not responsible for the actions or content of third parties, and you release us, our directors & employees from any claims and damages, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with any claim you have against any such third parties. Third parties include, but are not limited to, application developers, iRacer users, staff occupying iRacer World & Reporter positions and any third party websites that link to or from iRacer.
• We do not guarantee that the content displayed on iRacer will be accurate or up to date. It is the user’s responsibility to decide which information is accurate and we will not be liable for damages or claims that arise from inaccurate or out dated information displayed on iRacer.
• If any of these terms are found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain in full force and effect.
• Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent us from complying with the law.
• All of our rights and obligations under these terms are freely assignable by us in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise.
• These terms can change at any time and we suggest you check back regularly to ensure compliance.
• We will also post notification of any changes on our iRacer iPage where you will be given the opportunity to give us your feedback. We are under no obligation to act on the feedback we receive, although we do value your comments.

Privacy

At iRacer we take your privacy very seriously. Information on privacy can be found within our privacy policy.

Signing up/Account

You agree that;

• You will not provide false personal information. The name you enter must be your own name and not a fictional name or nick name.
• When selecting your iRacer ID you will NOT choose an ID that is of an offensive nature. This includes, but is not limited to, IDs containing fowl language, IDs promoting crime or other illegal activities, IDs that attack a specific person or group of people e.g. racist, sexist or any other defamatory IDs.
• You further agree that you will not choose IDs containing the word iRacer or any play on this word or IDs that suggest you are in any way associated or linked to the creation or delivery of the iRacer site.
• Users found to have selected IDs in breach of these agreements will have their accounts terminated immediately
• You will not create more than 1 account.
• You will not create an account for anyone other than yourself. Businesses & other organizations must create a separate page rather than a separate account.
• You will not use iRacer if you are a convicted sex offender.
• You will keep your contact information accurate and up to date.
• You will not give out your password or take any other action that might jeopardize the security of your account.
• You will not allow other people to access your account or transfer your account to anyone else.
• You will not use iRacer if you are under 13 years of age. For children of 13-18 years of age we recommend parental supervision.

Posting content

At iRacer we take other people's rights very seriously and strongly believe that you should treat others how you would wish to be treated yourself.

You agree that;

• You will not post content which infringes copyright, trademarks or any other intellectual property rights. If you repeatedly infringe other people's intellectual property rights, we will terminate your account.
• We will provide you with tools to help you protect your intellectual property rights and report users who have copied your content without consent. Where you believe content has been mistakenly removed as a result of this process you can contact us and we will consider your appeal with any further evidence that is brought forward.
• You will not post content or take any action that infringes someone elses rights or is otherwise unlawful.
• If anyone brings a claim against us related to your actions or your content iRacer, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind including reasonable legal fees and costs related to such claim.
• You will not introduce, or develop applications designed to introduce, or advertise adult content without appropriate age restrictions, for example, advertising alcohol to users under 18 in the UK is prohibited.
• You will not send or post unauthorized commercial communications to users. This includes SPAM email.
• You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any other user.
• You will not post content that is hateful, threatening or otherwise abusive.
• You will not post content that is deliberately provocative or designed to irritate or anger another user.
• You will not post sensitive financial information such as credit card numbers.
• When posting images & videos you will not breach any of the image or video guidelines that are given below.
• Any garage & event images you upload may be used in the "master" iRacer gallery area.
• Any images you upload may be marked with the iRacer watermark/logo.
• We can remove any content you post on iRacer without prior notice and at our own discretion. In cases where we remove content you have posted we will not be obliged to explain our reasons for removal or provide any compensation whatsoever for, or in connection with, the removal of this content.
• Where content posted on or in connection with iRacer is covered by intellectual property (IP) rights, you grant us a non exclusive, royalty-free, transferable worldwide license to use this content. This license ends when you delete this content or close your account (except where your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it). You also verify that you understand that the information may remain in iRacer backups for a reasonable time period but will not be available to others.
• You may only create or administer a page (iPage) if you are an authorized representative of the subject of the page. All pages must also comply with the page guidelines given below.
• If you collect information from users, you will obtain their prior consent & make it clear that you, rather than us, are collecting their information. You will also post a privacy policy indicating what information you are collecting and how you plan to use & store it. If we request you to stop collecting this information you will do so with immediate affect.
• You will not post anyones sensitive information on iRacer. This includes, but is not limited to, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses or financial information such as credit card numbers.

Image Guidelines

Please ensure any images(s) you upload satisfy the iRacers terms of use in addition to the following image guidelines.

Failure to do so may result in the termination of your account.

• By uploading an image to iRacer you certify that you are the owner of the image or have the permission of the image owner to upload it. You also verify that you have read & understood all iRacer image guidelines.
• Images that attack a specific person or group of people will not be tolerated. This includes racist, sexist or any otherwise defamatory images.
• Deeply pornographic images will not be tolerated.
• Images showing full frontal nudity or nudity below the waist line will not be tolerated unless sensitive areas are covered. Nudity above the waistline is acceptable.
• Images that show or promote criminal activity will not be tolerated.
• Images that show graphic violence or injuries will not be tolerated.
• Images showing illegal substances, for example drugs or illegal weapons, will not be tolerated.
• We reserve the right to add/amend terms of use and guidelines without prior notice. It is your responsibility to check back and ensure new changes are adhered to.

• Pages that discuss graphic violence or sexual activity will not be tolerated.
• Pages that promote criminal activity will not be tolerated.
• Pages promoting illegal substances, for example drugs or illegal weapons, will not be tolerated.

• Links to iRacer - We welcome links to iRacer. However, you must not post links to iRacer on sites containing content that, if posted on iRacer, would violate the iRacer terms of use.
• Links from iRacer - You must not post links to sites containing content that, if posted on iRacer, would violate the iRacer terms of use. We cannot be responsible for websites belong to other users so we would advise caution when visiting other sites. Creating link farm pages or pages with excessive outward bound links is also prohibited.

Your feedback

• We value your feedback and will consider all suggestions for site improvements and future developments. However, should we decide to act on a suggestion you put forward we will be under NO OBLIGATION to pay any money or reward to you.
