1. How do I enable chat?
To enable chat in your browser, you need to make sure that your pop up blocker is disabled or configured to allow pop ups from iracer.com. In Internet Explorer 7 these settings can be found in the tools menu under the pop up blocker option. You then have the option to turn off the blocker or configure the settings. If you choose to configure the settings, you need to add *.iracer.com to your allowed sites. If you use a toolbar such as Google Toolbar this may also try to block our chat window from appearing. Simply select to allow pop ups from iRacer.com and this will cure the problem.
2. How do I upload images?
To upload images, you must ensure you have a Java enabled web browser and make sure that Java is enabled. This allows you to upload you pictures faster than a standard form as well as being able to upload as many as you want at a time, whilst showing you the current progress. 3. How do I change my profile picture?
To change your profile picture, view your profile by clicking the Profile link at the top of the page. On the left hand side in the "Links" section you will see a link to "Change Profile Pic". If you click on this and select the "Manage Photos" tab, you are given the option to upload new photos or can choose an existing one by clicking the "Set as profile pic" link.
4. How do I change my rides profile picture?
The default profile picture for rides will remain in place until you select an alternative image. To do this go to your ride's page and click the photos tab. Here you will find the required link to set your ride's profile picture.
5. How do I stop someone writing on my wall?
To stop someone writing on your wall there are 2 options:
To block the user, visit their profile and select the "Block User" link from the left hand side. Once you have blocked them they will no longer be able to view your profile, or comment on your pages or rides.
To remove them as a friend, visit their profile and click the "Remove Friend" link. They can now no longer write on your wall unless you confirm them as a friend again.
6. How can I report something inappropriate?
To report a user or page you can click the report link on the page. We will then investigate the problem taking appropriate action and suspend/block the users account where necessary.
